Samsung N110 12PBK 10 Inch Black Notebook
It has met all my desires and expectations pertaining to this type of small notebook. I have found many who give poor critiques to notebooks depending on their lack of an optical drive, smaller keyboards/track pads, or even their weak overall performance with 3D video games. To those individuals I only say – do your homework and recognize what you are choosing before buying it. It is a netbook computer people, not a 15″ laptop that has been magically shrunk to suit inside a 10″ covering. Just like all things in your life, a lot of things had to be sacrificed so as to accomplish such a tiny notebook. Processing power along with also|along with] track pad/keyboard size needed to be decreased in order to fit everything into this kind of smaller bundle and get expanded battery run periods.
I use the netbook computer to give PowerPoint presentations. Despite the fact that the particular resolution of the actual netbook computer screen is 1024 x 600, the quality is noticeably better on external monitors and projectors. So far I was able to use the maximum quality capabilities of the projectors I have used. The presentations are just as sharp and clear using this netbook computer as when using high-powered costly laptop computers. With the actual long battery life, I don’t bother using a power cord and looking for the actual right adapter for the type of power plug the country uses. I can give PowerPoint presentations for 8 hours without connecting my netbook to external power.
The actual N110 has handled everything I’ve thrown at it, but I am not throwing heavy duty computionational tasks like simulations, video decoding or graphic intensive games, nor do I ever expect to on this machine. I am currently running it with the actual standard 1 gb memory, and although I ordered a memory upgrade at the same time as the actual N110, I haven’t seen a need for the actual extra memory, yet. On the actual negative side, if you’re planning on using this machine often outdoors in bright light, you will most certainly turn out to be disappointed using this machine. Otherwise, I believe laptop magazine got it perfect: it’s a near perfect netbook computer.
