If you hear the word iPod, the normal thing that will come into your mind are the different kinds of music that you can listen to. Well, producing and storing plenty of songs are the basic functions of an iPod. But then it still has some other useful functions. If you are not aware of this already, an iPod can also be used as a stopwatch. Amazing, isn’t it? The features of a radio and a clock can now be found on a very handy and wonderful gadget.

Before, people especially athletes are depending upon the traditional stopwatches to record their time and to see their progress when it comes to speed. But now, these traditional stopwatches are considered to be obsolete by many. Yes, they can still be helpful but then they are already left behind because our world and all the gadgets that we use are absolutely modernized.

Going back to the iPod, maybe you are asking yourself how useful it is to have a stopwatch function on your iPod. The great thing of having a stopwatch on your iPod is that it can save you a lot of money because it can keep you from buying a stopwatch. With your iPod with stopwatch around, you can now record your time during a workout or training while hearing beautiful music. You can also use it while having fun together with your friends: time how long it takes you to perform certain simple tasks. This really is a lot of fun! An iPod with a stopwatch is truly convenient and I can say that it is one of the most incredible things ever invented. If you still don’t know how to use an Ipod stopwatch then just follow the following simple steps:

First, of course you have to turn on your iPod. You can’t discover anything if it is off. If it is already on, go to the main menu where you can find a list from music to now playing. If you already found this, go down to EXTRAS and click the middle button.

Second, after clicking the middle button, you are now looking at the list wherein you can find the items such as clock up to screen lock. Continue scrolling down until you find “stopwatch”. If you found it, click the middle button.

Third, after clicking you are now ready to use your iPod stopwatch by clicking the “timer” button. You can see this appear: 00:00:00:00. If you observed, there is this lap 1 which appear below the stopwatch. Press the “start” to finally begin. You can press “push” if you are finish. After that, you will still have the choice if you still want to continue by clicking “resume” or end it by clicking “done”. Press the “lap” if you want to start with a new lap. The old one will be saved by doing this.

Fourth, start the music before you go to the stopwatch option if you want to listen to music while using the stopwatch.

We wish you all lots of fun using the mostly neglected but highly useful stopwatch feature in your iPod!
